Bipartisan climate solutions panel with U.S. Representatives Neguse and Curtis
More than 150 people gathered at CU Boulder for a discussion between U.S. Reps. Joe Neguse (D-CO) and John Curtis (R-UT), focused on finding common ground in fighting the climate crisis. The April 14 2022 panel, hosted by CIRES and the Bruce D. Benson Center, explored lawmakers' motivations, opportunities for consensus, and ways to reduce polarization. I co-moderated the event alongside Dr. Matt Burgess. Key takeaways included bipartisan climate action potential, successful legislation, and the active engagement of young people in climate efforts.
